Crafting boosts cognitive function, reduces stress, strengthens social bonds, and supports fine motor skills. My workshops create a joyful, hands‑on space where individuals can relax, explore their creativity, and make something beautiful to treasure. Each session is inclusive, creative and fun, and suitable for older adults and mixed‑ability groups. If you love handmade joy, behind‑the‑scenes peeks, and colourful chaos, message me and let’s plan something beautiful. See below for dates and workshops planned for autumn 2026.

Group workshops at Badger Farm Community Centre:
– FREE taster session!! Pom pom yarn frog: Saturday, 22nd August 2026, 2:30pm (45 mins). Just come to the centre on the day.
– FREE taster session!! Needle-felted sunflower picture: Saturday, 22nd August 2026, 3:30pm (90 – 100 mins).

Tailored small group workshops:

If you’re in Winchester (including Badger Farm and Oliver’s Battery), I can bring the craft fun straight to your home (up to 5 people). Alternatively, you can gather a bigger private group (6 – 10 people) and we can make arrangements (pending venue availability) at Badger Farm Community Centre. Join Funky Cat Design in the heart of Salisbury for a fun day, full of of creativity and community! The Craft and Gift Market at the Salisbury Guildhall takes place on 12th September 2026, and it is open to the public 10 am – 4 pm (free public entry).

Browse quality handmade crafts and gifts, from textiles to jewellery — and discover Funky Cat Design’s stall filled with needle‑felted pictures and sculptures, beaded hook bookmarks, reclaimed denim bracelets, add‑on and neck pouches, and handmade coasters. Don’t miss the surprise sale section — you might just find your next favourite piece…

Wings & Woodlands Artisan Market at Hawk Conservancy Trust

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat or treated themselves to something handmade from my stall! It was a wonderful day surrounded by beautiful woodland scenery, and we loved every minute of it. We even managed to sneak away for a peek at the bird‑of‑prey displays — including a very special one-to-one moment with an eagle.
To top it all off, the weather was on our side, giving us a warm, sunny spring day that made the whole event feel even more magical.
My partner and I came home with tired feet and full hearts!

Successful Spring Wreath Making Workshops in March!

We all had a fantastic time, creating our own cute, rustic spring wreath using yarn, felt, florist-wire frames and festive embellishments. All tools and materials were provided, plus tea, coffee and gluten-free biscuits.

Workshop Dates:
– Fri 20 March, 18:15–20:30 — 16+ and adults only.
– Mon 30 March, 10:00–12:00 — Family friendly.

New funky, upcycled denim jewellery available now!

Once upon a time, there was a very much loved pair of denim trousers… best for all occasions: work and leisure alike.
The trousers served me well, so when the time came to get new jeans, I couldn’t part with the old ones.
I was determined to find a way to upcycle and give them a new lease of life.
And so here it is, my brand new collection of pre-loved upcycled denim jewellery – bold and funky, and full of character!
